Q: What are the value-added services which are provided by GoListid?
A: We offer delivery arrangements, storage, cutting, and cleaning with a fee.
Q: How much is the delivery fee?
A: Delivery fee may vary depending on the delivery address. Please check with our customer service staff for the rate information specific to your destination.
Q: How much is the cleaning fee and cutting fee?
A: Cleaning fee may vary depending on the condition, material type, and/or size of the pre-owned steel material. Please check with our friendly customer service staff for the cost estimation.
Q: What is your warehouse operating hours?
A: Our warehouse opening hours are from Monday to Saturday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). It is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Q: How do I sign-up as a buyer/seller?
A: Create an account using this link and provide your details accordingly for the sign-up process. After creating an account, you may sign-up as a seller using the "Sell" button on the top of the website.
Q: Can I inspect the product in-person before placing an offer and how do I arrange it?
A: Yes, you may inspect the product in-person. Kindly contact our customer service team via chat for inspection arrangement.
Q: How can I place an offer?
A: Go the listing, click on chat and click on the offer button.
Q: Can I cancel my offer after I placed them?
A: Please contact our customer service team via chat for offer cancellation.
Q: Can I edit my offer after I placed them?
A: You can click on the same button to increase your offer, please contact our customer service team via chat you are facing difficulties with this.
Q: How do I know if the materials I’m looking for are available?
A: If the materials are available, you will be able to place a offer by click on the "Make Offer" button. You will be receiving a confirmation email once you have successfully placed the offer. However, the seller may not accept your offer even after the offer has been made. If you are unable to get the materials, our customer service staff will contact you to offer an alternative material listing.
Q: How do I know if the materials and the specifications I'm viewing are valid?
A: As part of GoListid's mission to provide quality assurance, we have conducted detailed physical inspections for materials for the listings. Kindly request for the inspection reports from our customer service team if you would like to view them.
Q: What type of payment do you accept?
A: Payment can be made via cash, cheque, telegraphic transfer & documentary credit
Q: Do you charge GST in Singapore?
A: Yes, all transactions for sales and/or services in Singapore are subjected to a 9% GST charge.
Q: What are your listing fees?
A: We do not charge any fees for listing, but we have tiered success fees for every successful sale:
- 5% success fee for transactions or SGD 600, depending on which is higher for <80 ton sold
- 3.5% success fee for 80 - 150 ton sold
- 2.5% success fee for >150 ton sold
Q: What is your consignment option?
A: As part of our service, qualifying listings would be provided with free 1 month of storage in our warehouse and free delivery into our warehouse. Our customer service team will inform you if you are eligible for this scheme.
Q: What is your Cash Advance Program?
A: Our first-of-its-kind Cash Advance Program allows you to sell your product to us at 80% of its scrap value and have the option to purchase it back after 180 calendar days, less 1% service fees per 30 calendar days.
If you opt for this program, we will consign your materials in our warehouse (free storage in our warehouse) and our team will also assist you with selling your product. We will deduct the service fees for the entire period upfront. In the case of a successful sale on our platform, we will transfer the transaction amount after deducting the listing success fees and other agreed costs, and refund the unutilised service fee.
Our customer service team will inform you if you are eligible for this scheme.
Q: How long can my item(s) be listed on your platform?
A: There is currently no limit to the length at which your item listing can be put up on our marketplace.
Q: How can I edit my listing?
A: If your listing is still under the "Draft" status, you may edit it by clicking the "Edit Listing" button in the individual listing page. For listings that are "Published", kindly contact our customer service team via chat to assist you with edits.
Q: How much is the storage fee?
A: It's free for the first month if you consign with us and will cost $6/ton/month after the first month.
Q: Do I need to pay for entire month if I start storing at the later part of the month?
A: Yes, we do not offer pro-rated fees, storage fee will be charged on a monthly basis. Which means if your materials have moved in / sold halfway through the storage month, the full month storage fee will be charged.
Q: If I store my material in your warehouse, can I arrange my own client (buyers from outside of your platform) come to inspect the material?
A: No, this is currently not allowed.
Q: When can I receive my payment after item(s) sold?
A: As seller, you will receive the payment within 14 working days upon the completion of sales.
Q: Do you charge GST in Singapore?
